Anita Anand is a force to be reckoned with in the world of Canadian politics. Anand spent nearly two decades as a professor of law at the University of Toronto, teaching and researching in the areas of corporate governance and securities regulation. It was here that she caught the attention of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and was recruited to run for the Liberal Party in the 2019 federal election.
Since being elected as a Member of Parliament and appointed as a Cabinet Minister, Anita Anand has not slowed down in her pursuit of making a difference in Canada.
